Inconsistent speakers

All but one of the speakers are great and speak at a normal pace. There is one male speaker with a very deep voice (deep enough to be distracting) who sounds like he is in slo mo. Whats up with this? It is honestly very distracting.

French does a far better job that German at providing the correct article or (m) (f) when the noun is first introduced.
