I paid and couldnt access the app. After days of trouble shooting its started to work (will it last, I wonder). Did they apologize for wasting my time? Of course not.

Its easy and perfect for beginners in French like me! Two thumbs up!

You should make the payment information more clear, I didnt know that you had to cancel your signature one day before it ends, I thought I only had to do it in the day it ends. Now I have to pay for a course I dont want because I wasnt informed about this detail.

Learning French with Babble is really good. It could be a bit better structured and tests would be a nice feature as well.

wow love this app makes me repeat the word after hearing it and grades me what i am saying so i decided to buy one time payment for the whole thing :)

But if you already know the basics like oui, non, bon voyage, etc, be prepared to wade through a lot of tedious repetition. It looks like you should be able to customize the review manager on the website, but It only gives me 404 errors when I try to modify the vocabulary settings. There are a few advanced words, but its not pleasant spending five minutes on words I already know for the sake of practicing one Im not familiar with. I do think the modest monthly fee is worthwhile for beginners, but the description making it appear its good for advanced vocabulary, or even barely-intermediate like me, is a reach.

Five-star content for beginners, 1-star payment options. No 1-time payment option for permanent usage, only monthly subscription.

Im taking a French course. I cant give it 5 stars because I have not completed it yet. However, it is very thorough with a review at the end of each lesson. I would definitely recommend this and/or take up another language. I feel like I am in a classroom and getting proper lessons

I love this app and the best part is when it comes to the review to see how one is progressing. They say one has to use the language or risk losing it. One suggestion would be to have an ability to converse with an tutor or others to learn and improve conversational speaking on the iPad. Other than that, great app!!!

Love this app. It would be nice if there was a way to converse with others within the app though. I think it would make for a much better learning process because we would be able to practice what we learn. Therefore, retention of our chosen language would be higher.

I am in my third year of French, moving to fourth in September, and I would love to improve. (Im Canadian) In addition to French, Im from Chinese descent, and I would desperately LOVE to learn Mandarin. Please make an app for Mandarin, after all, it is the second most spoken language in the world.Thanks!

Good slow start. I like reinforcement of sound, vocab., spelling, parts if speech - all aspects of a language.

I mean this both in terms of jumping ahead through different lessons within each chapter, as well as skipping certain exercises like spelling or fill in the blanks.
