Babbel – Learn French App Reviews

Excellent app. Love it! And love how affordable it is. Also their reminders about having consistency on using it are a plus for those if us who tend to forget coming back to it regularly.

This app is great for improving in French and you not only learn more, you have fun doing it also!!! I love learning in the comfort of my room just before I go to bed or when I wake up. Its worth it. you DO have to pay though. So if youre willing to do that then its perfect for you.

Your app is useless. When I repeat the words correctly, it tells me Im wrong or doesnt even recognize speech. I know how to say bien & Oui very well, I might not be bilingual, but Im intermediate in French. You need to work on the microphone please.

The lessons are fantastic and easy to follow.

I have tried a few language learning apps and this one seems really great so far. The lessons give you the information you need while also being fast paced and interesting (for learning a language). I have used the French beginners Lessing one and two and I am currently halfway through 3. I havent found any bugs my only complain is the voice recognition seems to be very testy. If I am not in a completely silent room it has difficulty picking up what I say. Even after adjusting the mic settings several times. Considering you can pay several hundred dollars, for similar products I think babbel is a very good value for money

I bought a six month subscription to Babbel and the recent update has made HALF of the content completely dysfunctional. I literally cannot use the app to study French anymore. Emails to tech support have gone unanswered. Based on a *functional* app, I would give Babbel 4 stars, but this experience has soured me. My advice: steer clear.

I have tried many french learning apps and this is the BEST! It focuses on everyday language as it introduces new vocabulary, sounds, and grammar through visual, auditory, and interactive lessons. And, it makes learning french fun! LOVE IT!!! Merci beaucoup Babbel.

While this app would be rather helpful if it was fully opertional, the fact is that that it is plagued with glitches the company refuses to address. For example I contacted their support team about fixing the review feature (one of the most important features) and they assured me that a fix was on the way, almost one year later there has been no fix. Its a shame because this app would likely warrant at least 4 stars if it was fully operational. I could only recommend this language app if youre willing to look past its blaring technical problems

Be very careful when buying this. Cancelling your subscription will NOT stop them from charging your account still. Even after complaining about being charged I asked for my credit card information to be deleted and they assured me it was... However when I signed into my Babbel account all my info was still there! You have to delete your ENTIRE Babbel account in order to stop being charged.

However, it isnt letting me past the registration stage. Otherwise, it seems interesting

It isnt until after completing an intro, registering AND completing the first lesson that they tell you thats all you get for free. To do anything more its $14/month or even $85/year! Getting rid of this app. Thought it would be an easy way to learn but you can find other resources online for free!

Why would they have me pay? And anyways, I can learn more french than this in school. FOR FREE. I thought you were better, Babble.

If you are all the way through duolingo and looking for the next level this is the app. Yes its expensive, probably a little too expensive, however this is the best language learning app Ive come across so far.

This app helps u alot on ur language skills and I personally find it very fun and simple to lern language because Babble makes it alot easier! U guys should downlowed it especialy if love lerning different languages!

I need for this app Turkish Language support. I want to change main language to Turkish and learn French... Please add Turkish to your main language list in to the app. This is much difficult :(
